Waste Treatment of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Proper disposal of electrical and electronic equipment is essential to reduce environmental impact and comply with European and national regulations.
Waste Treatment
Directive 2012/19/EU, one of the key European regulations in this field, establishes that producers of EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) are responsible not only during the product’s life cycle but also at its end of life, ensuring recovery, recycling, and disposal. This directive is based on the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which requires producers to design easily recyclable products and to ensure the safe and sustainable recovery and treatment of WEEE.
We encourage our customers to take note of the following symbol and to avoid disposing of this waste in general waste containers, instead consulting national regulations for disposal at authorized collection centers.
