In an exciting first for India, the Indian National Latte Art Championship is set to take place from September 25th to 27th. This event celebrates the fusion of coffee and art, challenging baristas to create captivating designs within a set time frame. Adding prestige to the event is Rancilio Specialty Invicta, the official sponsor.
With modern design aesthetics, Invicta empowers baristas with electronic control over water, steam, and coffee functions. The innovative 2-position knob, which can be effortlessly turned to the right to activate the ‘Purge’ function, stands as a pivotal element in assisting baristas during their Latte Art performances.
At the championship, baristas will be evaluated on visual attributes, creativity, pattern consistency, contrast, and overall performance.
India’s first Latte Art Championship promises to be a celebration of talent, innovation, and the artistic potential of coffee. The national winner will go on to represent India at the World Latte Art Championship organized by World Coffee Events in Bangalore during the World Coffee Congress in September.
