In conjunction with Cafe Show 2024, Rancilio Specialty and The Barista League are bringing an electrifying night of coffee competition to the heart of South Korea on November 9th.
The Rancilio Specialty RS1 will be supporting 10 teams of two in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary challenge that pushes their coffee skills to the limit. During the Drinks Challenge, competitors will have just 15 minutes to craft a variety of coffee beverages for a VIP panel of judges – Sunghee Tark, Kihoon Kim, Cheong Bi Ha, and Daewoong Song – while also serving two mystery customers simultaneously. In this intense scenario, the RS1 will shine as the perfect partner, enhancing the natural aromas and flavors of each espresso thanks to its Advanced Temperature Profiling technology. In addition, its practical variable steam lever will ensure state-of-the-art performance for every plant-based milk beverages.
Amidst the lively atmosphere—complete with great music from deejay Jeena Kim, games, and plenty of coffee from Seoul’s best local roasters —attendees can expect an unforgettable, coffee-fueled night of fun and competition.
