On Saturday 18 February, Rancilio Specialty is teaming up with The Barista League in the fascinating harbour city of Oslo, Norway.

Twelve professional teams will compete in 3 rounds of challenges that will test their experience and creativity when it comes to coffee preparation. Joanne Berry, Simo Kristidi, Synøve Nesøen, Ole Kristian Bøen, Marit Islanni and Imogen Noble make up the jury of experts that will put the participants to the test.

Rancilio Specialty is the official sponsor of the event with the Invicta single boiler coffee machine, designed to speed up service and make the best extraction technologies accessible to all baristas thanks to the electronic control of the coffee, water and steam functions.

Presented for the first time in the late 1930s according to the inspiring principles of Art Deco, Invicta is now back with an elegant and modern design to support the competing professionals in the race to win the approval of the judges and win the final prize.
