On Wednesday, July 3, the Italian final of the Latte Art Grading Systems circuit took place, with the professional coffee machine Rancilio Classe 20 SB as the main partner. During the competition, the winners for the green, red, black, and gold levels were announced in a fiercely contested event among Italy’s top baristas.
The event was held at the prestigious BRIXIA Arena of Torrefazione August in Brescia and was judged by a panel of LAGS experts, including Maurizio Boi, Andrea Villa, Simone Cattani, Nicola Manzo, and Fabio Proietto.
With the support of the Classe 20 SB, equipped with Steady Brew (SB) technology, Giulio Maisto won first place for the green level, while Ivan De Rosa and Salvatore Riunno took the podium for the red and black levels respectively. Carmen Clemente distinguished herself as the undisputed winner of the prestigious gold category.
The C-lever steam wand of the Classe 20 SB proved to be an essential tool for creating precise works, adhering to the high standards of the Latte Art Grading System.
The international final will take place in Trieste on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Triestespresso Expo, giving these talents the opportunity to compete for the world podium.
