On the 24^th of February 2023 a brand-new project brought to you by The Barista League – La Rumba Barista – is taking place at the colourful patio of Varietale in Bogotá, Colombia.

The Barista League and Rancilio Specialty are welcoming you for an exciting night for all coffee people on the last day of the 2022 Mystery Coffee Vacation – a five-day trip organised for the winners of the past Barista League events. La Rumba Barista is in fact the conclusion of an enchanting travel experience around Colombia connecting with local baristas, visiting coffee farms and experiencing this amazing country.

During this last evening, 12 teams of two will be paired up with two international baristas – winners from past editions and guests of the Barista League Mystery Coffee Vacation – to compete in a three-round challenge around coffee.

As the official sponsor of the competition, Rancilio Specialty Invicta will be present offering its distinctive extraction technology and simplicity of use at the contestants’ service. In a night designed to bringing the local coffee community together, there will be plenty of music, lights and fun with a Colombian twist.
