It was put back because of the pandemic, but World of Coffee Dubai is now on from 12 to 14 January 2022 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre and it’s time to pack our bags and head off. Organised by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the travelling trade show is making its first appearance in the Middle East in eclectic Dubai, also host to Expo 2020, and aims to connect a range of professionals from the coffee industry and the specialty coffee community. In recent years, a surge in growth has been reported globally in the Middle East and North African coffee markets, according to Euromonitor data.
As an SCA partner and sector leader, Rancilio Group will also be at World of Coffee Dubai. The event will provide a setting to present some of the latest products and technologies that the company has launched for Host 2021, namely the Rancilio Specialty RS1 and the Silvia Pro X from the Homeline.
Dedicated to the world of specialty coffee and the result of almost 100 years of Rancilio know-how, the iconic Rancilio Specialty RS1 will be presented to the Dubai coffee community featuring technology to enable pre-infusion and post-infusion control. Designed to satisfy the needs of the most demanding baristas, this technology has been added to existing Advanced Temperature Profiling to represent a further step forwards in the quest by the Coffee Competence Team and Rancilio LAB for the ultimate brewing technology. In addition to technological features, RS1 will continue with the colour trends of recent years and will be presented at World Coffee Dubai in its customised version, in Classic Blue, and in a new, standard Black with Wood Kit version.
In terms of Homeline products, Silvia fans can meet Silvia Pro X, a remastered Silvia Pro with coffee boiler pressure gauge and new soft-infusion technology for ultimate brewing of all coffee blends. Silvia Pro X is also available in new colours and will be presented at World Coffee Dubai in White and Black and also in a Stainless Steel version, making it even more striking and perfect for any space.
The two espresso machines will be joined by Kryo OD, a professional on-demand dosing grinder from the Grindtec line, and Rocky SD, a compact grinder from the Home line.
World of Coffee Dubai is an essential event for exploring all the latest from Rancilio Group and is also a fantastic opportunity to delve deep into the world of specialty coffee.
